Societypic2About

Founded in 1996 with a mandate to preserve and promote the natural and cultural heritage of the region, the Eastport Peninsula Heritage Society Inc. owns and operates The Beaches Heritage Centre.

The Society, a not-for-profit organization, operates within the framework of a constitution and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors of 15 people, with five of these being elected for a three-year term each year at the Annual General meeting.

Membership in the Society is open to any citizen of the province for the annual fee of $10, which makes you eligible for annually offered discounts at certain theatre performances, puts you on the Newsletter mailing list and entitles you to attend Annual and other public meetings of the Society.

It is involved in ongoing projects designed to preserve and promote our heritage.
